This month, hilarity continues as Pseudo Kramer hacks into the mail box of a fictitious agency and shares a mail trail involving the travel plans for a tvc shoot

I wanted to let you know that for the TVC shoot lined up for next month we have got approval from finance for 2 persons from the agency to travel. You can decide who should go. Please ensure that our travel policy guidelines will be followed.

Hi Creative Director..Good news. The client has agreed to pay for  2 people from the agency to go. I was thinking you and I could go. You because you lead the team of course, and me because there will be a client attending and you need someone to manage the client.

That is total BS. How can the client decide who should go from here? We need the creative team, who’s idea it is. So Copywriter and Art Director should go. Then we need the film executive for sure. And as you mentioned I should be there.

Please see attached, note from CD. As you know client will only pay for 2 people and CD wants 4 people just from his department. No way client will pay for this. Will you talk to him?

Hey CD..for the brand shoot next month is there anyway you can do with fewer people? For example you and the copy writer, who’s idea it originally it is? I will find a way to get AD to back out. That way we are covered from a cost perspective.

I don’t want to bargain here ok? We say we believe in training our people. This is the perfect time for the team that works on the brand to get some exposure and learn. I need to be there as I have the experience to guide them. We need the film executive to manage the logistics at the shoot. How do you expect me to do great work if you constantly tie my hands behind my back.  Either we all go, or no one goes.

I saw the note from Creative Director. Let me tell you...I don’t want to be caught up in this nonsense. This is your account you better learn to manage it. I see CD’s point wrt getting great work. This is a great chance to get some awards, so don’t blow it.

So there. The MD has spoken. I hope you have some tricks up your sleeve. Remember that buffer we had built through that printing job? Maybe we have to pull it out and hope we get another chance to make some money for account profitability. And oh by the way..you cannot go for the shoot. MD wants me to go to manage things.
