Nokia, JWT, Ogilvy and Webchutney bag top honours at Olive Crown Awards

While both agencies shared the Green Agency of the Year award, Nokia was adjudged the Green Advertiser of the Year, while Ogilvy India bagged the Campaign of the Year

Nokia, JWT, Ogilvy and Webchutney bag top honours at Olive Crown Awards

The India Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) presented the second Olive Crown awards for excellence in Green advertising on 3 March in Mumbai. Webchutney and JWT India shared the Green Agency of the year award, having won two golds and one silver, to secure the top spot. Nokia was adjudged the Green Advertiser of the year, while Ogilvy India won the Campaign of the year award for its iFold campaign. Olive Crowns were presented to winners in 14 categories and were judged by a panel of judges that included some of the most respected creative names in the business.

Webchutney and JWT secured a silver crown for Nokia - I Recycle My Phone campaign in the Campaign of the year category, while DDB Mudra and Mediacom also won the same award for their Volkswagen - Think Blue campaign. 

In the Press - Consumer Products & Services category, Lowe Lintas won a silver for Suzlon P.A.L.S campaign, while Umbrella Design won a silver for TOI - Ganesha 2011 in the Press Corporate category. Ogilvy bagged a silver in the TVC / Cinema  - Consumer Products & Services category for Thane Municipal Corporation - 'Slap' film, while JWT won a gold in the TVC / Cinema - Corporate category for Nokia - I Recycle My Phone film whereas Lowe Lintas won a silver for Suzlon P.A.L.S. film in the same category. 

Webchutney won a gold for Nokia - I Recycle My Phone campaign in the Digital category. Mathrubhumi and Lodestar won a gold award each in the Events category for their Mathrubhumi - SEED and Garnier events. Silver awards were won by Draft FCB Ulka for Whirlpool - Ek Jodi Kapda, Dentsu for Toyota Greenathon and Contract for JK Tyre - Soles with Souls. 

Mudra and Mediacom won a gold for Volkswagen - Think Blue in the Out of Home category. Umbrella Design bagged a silver in the same category for its work for Times of India. Dustyfoot Productions' 'The Wild Meat Trail' won a gold crown in the Documentry & Short Films category, while Goldmine's 'Nuclear Bomb' won the silver in the same category. 

Webchutney's Abhishek Saxena was adjudged Young Green Art Director of the Year with a gold crown, while Umbrella Design's Uttam Sutar won a silver.   

Webchutney and JWT also bagged a gold crown in the Green Brand of the year category for Nokia - I Recycle My Phone. Mathrubhumi SEED entered by the publication itself and JK Tyre - Soles with Souls campaign by Contract also won silver awards in the same category.
