Mindshare has appointed Wendy Walker as regional chief growth officer for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. She takes over from Kevin Rooney, who has moved into a new role as MD, m/SIX Asia Pacific.
Walker has 20 years of marketing experience and joins from Australia where she was most recently CMO at iiNet. Prior that this, she was marketing director at Telstra.
In her new role, the focus will be on accelerating top-line growth, besides spearheading the agency’s brand marketing and PR efforts in the region, informed an official statement.
On her appointment, Walker said “I’m thrilled to have joined the Mindshare family and to have the opportunity to work with such a talented and diverse team across the region. Having worked closely with agency partners throughout my career, I’m really looking forward to using my marketing experience to contribute to the Mindshare business and our clients."
