MCCS unveils new logos for ABP News, ABP Majha and ABP Ananda

Media Content and Communications Services (MCCS) has announced the re-launch of the MCCS news channels Star News as ABP News in Hindi, Star Ananda as ABP Ananda in Bangla and Star Majha as ABP Majha in Marathi. The on-air change in logos for all the three channels will begin on 1 June. A multimedia campaign campaign spread over eight weeks will be launched.

Commenting on the development, Ashok Venkatramani, chief executive officer, MCCS, said, "The three news channels of MCCS have developed into market leaders in their segments, over the last eight years, which has helped MCCS evolve as a strong and respected broadcast news company. Our channel is managed by a fine bunch of professionals - editors, journalists, technicians - who would continue to maintain the highest standards of ethical journalism. We also have a strong and professional set of people in sales, marketing and distribution who would continue to strive to ensure that value is delivered to their clients."

"Consistent with this fact, we have a simple communication theme - Our Stars don't change, our News does not change, only our name changes," he added.
