In her earlier role at Leo Burnett, Sood was responsible for organizing Goafest event for the first two years, and for starting the social responsibility cell LeoHope. Since then, she has been working with the Salaam Bombay Foundation for the past three years. Sood has 12 years of experience with agencies like Mudra, and Ambience Publicis, in addition to Leo Burnett. Over the years, she has handled several big brands like Westside, Nerolac Paints, Heinz and Philips. Talking about her return to Leo Burnett, Sood said, “LB has always been home! Having worked for three years in the social sector has added a completely new dimension to my thinking. Working on fresh event and PR ideas for LB clients will be extremely interesting. The pleasure of working with like-minded people who share the same vision and motivation of delivering world-class events is what is going to drive me and the team.” Speaking on this new initiative, Arvind Sharma, chairman, India Subcontinent, Leo Burnett, commented, “Clients’ marketing plans have been evolving over the years. In the recent past, we have been working with some of our clients on specially conceptualized world class events. Now with Seema and her valuable experience with us, we are looking forward to expanding this division dramatically.”
