Digital agency Jack in the Box Worldwide, a part of The 120 Media Collective, has set up shop in Delhi and brought in Mairu Gupta to head the office as vice president and business head. Gupta joins Jack in the Box from SapientNitro, where he was India marketing lead.

Abhishek Razdan has been elevated to senior vice president and business head, Mumbai.  Prior to this, Razdan was head of business management.

Gupta and Razdan will report to Roopak Saluja, founder and chief executive officer, The 120 Media Collective.

On the new appointments and the setting up of the Delhi office, Roopak Saluja, founder and chief executive officer, The 120 Media Collective said, “The value a Delhi-Gurgaon presence will bring to our PepsiCo mandate is unquestionable. While that’s the immediate driver of the decision, we’ll be pitching aggressively and responding to long-time requests to establish a presence there, allowing us to ramp up to a mid-size office by the end of the year. This dual decentralised structure makes perfect sense in the evolution of JITB, led by two very competent professionals who are not only extremely passionate about delivering strategic and creatively excellent work but have proven abilities in nurturing client relationships with a long-term strategic view. Most of all, we’re all on the same page about striving to evolve our output from digital communications solutions to media-agnostic business solutions with digital at the core, something we’re getting better at every day.”

Heather Gupta, chief talent officer, The 120 Media Collective, added, "Expanding into Delhi is a natural progression for us. Jack in the Box has a strong set of clients, an outstanding reputation for delivering inspiring creative solutions, and a great bunch of people already on board in our Mumbai office. We are delighted to be able to expand our footprint, geographically, and I am confident that under Mairu's leadership, our Delhi office will soon become a force to be reckoned with.”

On his new role, Razdan said, “It's been over a year for me at Jack In the Box and I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every moment of it. During this time, we have worked very hard and done a lot of ground work.  Today, we have a great set of clients and our engagement with them is at a strategic and business level, beyond tactical, short term stuff. Our ambition is to make Jack in the Box the first choice amongst clients looking for media agnostic solutions."

On his move, Gupta said, “Having worked across both mainline and digital forms of advertising, I've realised that ideas don't work in isolation. Our vision is to create ideas that are media agnostic and tightly integrated with brand positioning. We are not a social media agency, or a digital or ATL or BTL agency. We are driven to solve business problems for brands by creating great ideas and content across platforms.”
