Grey hands Nirvik Singh additional charge of MEA
Nirvik Singh, chairman and CEO of Grey Group Asia Pacific since 2009, will take on the additional role of chairman and CEO for the agency's operations in Middle East and Africa.
 
On his new role, Jim Heekin, chairman and CEO, Grey Group (global), said, “Nirvik has been a prime mover in our dynamic growth and development in Asia.  He has been relentless in building our geographic footprint with premier acquisitions, accelerating our offerings in a host of disciplines including digital and shopper and raising the creative bar.  He has won every major professional award in Asia.  I know he will bring the same single-minded dedication and achievement to his added responsibilities.”
 
Singh will continue to 'work closely' with Heekin,and Michael Houston, global president, informed an official statement. It also attributed to Singh additions to the Grey network across the region including RC&M (Rural Communications & Marketing services) in India.
 
Singh is an industry veteran of 27 years. Before his appointment to the Apac role in 2009, he served as chairman and CEO of Grey Group South/South East Asia since 2005 and CEO of G2 Asia Pacific since 2007. He started his career with Lipton India, before joining Grey's Kolkata office.
