EMVIES 2011: 118 shortlists announced across 19 categories

The shortlisted entries for EMVIES 2011 have been announced. Along with the higher number of entries, this year, the shortlisted entries have also seen an increase. While there were 60 shortlists in 2009 and 66 in 2010, this year, the nominations have crossed the 100 mark. Across 19 categories, 118 entries have been shortlisted for case study presentations to be held over three days on 16, 17 and 18 August at Welingkars Institute, Mumbai. The Awards ceremony has been scheduled for 26 August.

Mindshare has bagged the highest number nominations amongst agencies this year with 33 shortlists. Lodestar UM follows with 22 shortlisted entries. Maxus comes in third with 20 shortlisted entries. Madison Media Infinity’s nine entries have been nominated while Mudra Max earned eight nominations. Seven entries from Mediacom Communications made it to the shortlist, while MEC bagged five nominations. Madison Media Plus got four shortlists in this year’s list. M&C Saatchi Direct & Digital Communications got two nominations, while JWT, ZenithOptimedia India, Optima Advertising, Interface Business Solutions, Omnicom Media Group, OMD, GroupM’s Dialogue Factory and Platinum Communications secured one nomination each.
