Carrier Midea India has appointed DDB Mudra Delhi as its creative agency for its Midea brand following a multi-agency pitch. DDB Mudra will be working on strategic planning and creative execution for both ATL and BTL requirements of the brand.

Carrier Midea India, a JV between US-headquartered Carrier and China's GD Media Holding, is a new entrant in the Indian home appliances market. The joint venture is expected to create competition in the home air conditioners market, and both Carrier and Midea brands will be sold through the new entity according to news reports.
