Inaugural edition to be hosted on 27 September at Times Square

D&AD Impact Awards: R Balki on 'Communication and Interaction' jury
D&AD Impact Awards has announced the first set of jury presidents and judges for its inaugural edition. The awards seek to 'Reward real work with real impact.' 
 
Representing India is is R Balki, chairman and CCO, MullenLowe Lintas Group, as part of the 'Communication and Interaction' jury. 
 
A D&AD (Impact) Pencil will be awarded on three criteria – an original and innovative idea at its core; clear and measurable impact in its chosen category area; and relevance to the business’ commercial needs.
 
Tim Brown, CEO, IDEO; author of Change By Design; and president of the Urban Living category at the awards, said, “Impact is ultimately the only meaningful measure of good design. As one of the leading promoters of creativity in business, D&AD is perfectly positioned to reinforce this positive message and I am delighted to help shape the conversation this year.” 
 
Eight jury presidents have been named with the remaining presidents and jury members to be named within June. 
 
D&AD Impact will be part of the Advertising Week XIII and will be hosted on 27 September. Entries close end-July.
