Hosted on 23 and 24 June, Lions Entertainment is being launched as part of this year's festival

Cannes Lions 2016: McCann's Prasoon Joshi on Entertainment Lions for Music jury
Lions Entertainment, the new event for 'Unskippable Creativity' at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, has announced the jury members for the Entertainment Lions and the Entertainment Lions for Music.

India is represented in the Entertainment Lions for Music jury, by Prasoon Joshi, chairman, Asia Pacific, CEO and CCO, India, McCann Worldgroup.

Terry Savage, chairman, Lions Festivals, said, “In the inaugural year of Lions Entertainment we have combined creative pioneers across the spectrum of music, sport, gaming and talent with specialists in the industry to get the widest range of perspectives. We’ve seen again and again how important it is to create content that integrates into the lives of consumers instead of interrupting and these juries will be looking to award work that cuts through, sets standards and resets the discussion.”

Evolving from the Branded Content & Entertainment Lions, the Entertainment Lions will honour work that has turned content into culture, while the Entertainment Lions for Music celebrate how integral music is to effective branded content.

Rob Dembitz, head, Lions Entertainment, added, “It’s exciting to welcome so much new talent not only to the jury but also to the speaking stages of Lions Entertainment. We also look forward to meeting many new companies in Cannes this summer as well.”

Lions Entertainment will take place on 23 and 24 June 2016.
