British Telecom's corp com head bags top PR honors

Carson Dalton, head of corporate communications, British Telecom India was named 'Young PR Professional of the Year' at the Asia Pacific PR Awards, held by Haymarket Media, in Hong Kong last week. Carson (pictured, right) was one of 16 PR professionals who were nominated for the award, which recognises the talent of people aged under 30 across the region.

Carson Dalton, head of corporate communications, British Telecom India was named 'Young PR Professional of the Year' at the Asia Pacific PR Awards, held by Haymarket Media, in Hong Kong last week. Carson (pictured, right) was one of 16 PR professionals who were nominated for the award, which recognises the talent of people aged under 30 across the region.

Dalton was nominated for his work in transforming BT's communications effectiveness across India. In this role Dalton is responsible for all media related activities and CSR. He works alongside the senior leadership team to role out integrated communications campaigns. 
 
Previously, Dalton was with Idea Cellular where he created and led the corporate communications cell at just 25. Dalton started his public relations career with Genesis Burson Marstellar where he crafted a reputation management programme for Cummins Inc.
