Apac Effie Awards 2021: Seven wins for India

The Womb wins two Gold Effies; McCann (two), Ogilvy (two) and The Leo Group also among winners

Apac Effie Awards 2021: Seven wins for India
The organisers of the Apac EFfie Awards have announced the winners for the 2021 edition. 
 
Among the 71 wins, seven were for entries from India.
 
The Womb was the only Gold winning agency from the country. It won two Gold Effies - one each for Nobel Hygiene's 'India! Periods Are Red, Not Blue' and 'It's Okay To Pee In Your Pants'. 
 
McCann India and Ogilvy India won a Silver and Bronze Effie each. 
 
McCann's Silver win was for Reckitt's 'Handwashing Challenge', while the Bronze came for Manipal Cigna's 'Health Insurance for the Healthy'. 
 
Ogilvy's Silver win was for Red Label's 'Taste Of Togetherness' and the Bronze came for Mondelez's 'Not Just A Cadbury Ad'.
 
The Leo Group won Bronze for PhonePe's 'The journey To UPI Adoption'.
 
Grey Advertising Bangladesh won the Grand Effie or Best-in-Show for United Commercial Bank's 'Project AgroBanking'. 
 
Ogilvy bagged the 'Agency Network of the Year' award, once again, with a total of 17 wins.
