At the time of going to press, Campaign India is able to confirm that Leo Burnett’s ‘Che, Chaplin and Hitler’ campaign for Luxor Highlighters has won a Pencil at The One Show in the Design category.
The One Show has announced the finalists in the Radio, Design and Interactive categories. 19 entries from India have made it to this list including the Luxor campaign. The Radio finalists from India are ‘Free birdsong’ for treesforfree.org by Meridian Communications and ‘Gunshot’ and ‘Videocon TV’ for Videocon Industries by O&M.
The Design finalists include ‘Hands and tree’ for Help Delhi Breathe by Contract Advertising and ‘Straight face’ for Straight face by Equus Red Cell. ‘Baby Boomers’ for Baby Boomers by Red Lion, ‘Frame’ for Getty Images by Rediffusion DY&R, ‘The Birds’ for Amway India by Rediffusion, ‘Stomach’ and ‘Bubble’ for Glaxo Smith Kline by O&M and ‘Mobile tracker illustration’ for Samsung Mobile by Cheil Communications have also made it to the list. The other finalists in this category are ‘Hairstyle’ for Juice Hair by Rediffusion and ‘Roots’ by Roots Revival Society by Euro RSCG, WWF’s ‘Plant more trees ‘Bird’’, ‘Plant more trees ‘Fish’’ and ‘Plant more lives’ by O&M and ‘Please plant trees’ by Meridian.
JWT’s campaign ‘YellowRippers’ for Sulekha.com is the only finalist from India in the Interactive category.
Campaign India also understands that O&M’s finalists in the other categories include Mattel Toys Hotwheels ‘Bed’ (Print), Hutch MSN ‘Pigeons’ (Outdoor), Neo Sports ‘Gas’ (Consumer Television) and Getty Images ‘Window Stickers’ (Innovation in Advertising and Marketing).
