The appointment signals AdCounty Media India’s focus on strengthening its strategic roadmap, partnerships and long-term growth across the digital advertising ecosystem.

AdCounty Media India Limited has appointed Gaurav Dikshit as advisor to the board, as the digital-first adtech company sharpens its focus on growth, partnerships and market expansion. The appointment is positioned as a strategic move to reinforce AdCounty Media’s roadmap and unlock opportunities across evolving digital ecosystems.

In his advisory role, Dikshit will work closely with the company’s leadership and board to shape strategic direction, particularly around partnerships, growth metrics and long-term value creation. His remit also includes identifying opportunities within emerging digital platforms that can support sustainable business outcomes for the company and its partners.

Dikshit brings over two decades of experience across media planning, marketing, strategy, content, growth and digital transformation. His career spans agencies, client organisations, entrepreneurial ventures and consulting assignments, giving him a perspective across both brand and business priorities. This breadth of experience is expected to support AdCounty Media as it scales its adtech offerings and partner ecosystem.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Dikshit has held senior roles across several agencies and organisations. Early in his career, he worked in media planning roles at Grey Worldwide, handling brands such as BSNL, Wrigley’s and Aviva, followed by RK Swamy, where he worked on BSNL and Blackberrys. He later moved to Starcom, working on accounts including Samsung, LVMH, Kohler and UCB.

His leadership journey includes a stint at Mindshare, part of GroupM, where he handled media planning, including digital, and strategy for brands such as Apollo Tyres, Swatch Group, Lufthansa, BPTP and Volvo Cars, with a focus on integrated media and growth-led strategies. He subsequently moved to Samsung India, where he worked on strategy, growth and communication as part of the corporate media marketing team, focusing on scale, reach and performance outcomes.

At RK Swamy Delhi, Dikshit served as media head for Delhi and digital India head, leading several government-led initiatives including the launch of Digital India, Jan Dhan Yojana, PFRDA and Mudra Loan, along with campaigns for UNICEF. Alongside agency and client-side roles, Dikshit has also been an entrepreneur, building and scaling digital and content-led platforms focused on developing and rural markets, including platforms aimed at rural audiences and children.
