IAA knowledge seminar for the realty sector on digital media

The India Chapter of International Advertising Association (IAA) is organising an industry-specific knowledge seminar on digital media in Mumbai, for the realty sector. This seminar will enable an understanding of digital for the benefit of real estate developers, informed an IAA statement.

Titled ‘Real Estate in a Digitised World’, the seminar will be hosted on 2 August at The Trident, BKC. Steve Waugh, former Australian cricketer and founder, Sporting Edge, will be the guest of honour along with Niranjan Hiranandani, managing director, Hiranandani Constructions.

Speakers at the seminar include Tushar Vyas, managing partner, GroupM; Nitin Bawankule, industry director, Google India; Barry Schwarz, creative director and co-founder, Addikt; Zia Patel, head of strategy India and Dubai, Wolff Olins; Neville Taraporewalla, senior director, Microsoft India; Girish Nair, CEO, Netcore; Vinod Thadani, COO, Madhouse India; and Sudhir Pai, business head, Magicbricks.

Srinivasan Swamy, president, IAA India Chapter, and VP-development, Asia Pacific, said, “Through this knowledge seminar, the Indian real estate industry gets a new perspective on digital as a medium, grasp global trends, and hopefully apply these for better marketing solutions. When the economy is difficult and many real estate projects are not finding ready buyers, a cost effective medium like digital can help the realty sector. I hope many will participate and benefit from it.”
