Jitender Dabas to head planning at McCann Delhi

McCann Erickson Delhi has appointed Jitender Dabas as head of its planning function. He will take over from Sandip Mahapatra who will will now spearhead integrated planning for McCann Worldgroup.  

An IIT Delhi alumnus, Dabas has spent the last 14 years in the advertising and communication industry. Starting as an account management executive with FCB Ulka, he moved on to strategic planning with Grey. He is currently with JWT Delhi, where he heads strategic planning on accounts like Hero Honda, Nokia, Pepsi Foods, Sony & Congress. Prior to this, Dabas has worked on Airtel DTH, Pizza Hut, GE Money, SBI Cards, Hyundai, Compaq, Mother Dairy, Arvind Brands and Apollo tyres. He was rated as one of the Top 5 Brand Pioneers from the global JWT network last year, and also garnered WPP’s Atticus award for Original Thinking in marketing and communication.
