Rajiv Beotra assumes role of media marketing business head at HT Media

HT Media has promoted Rajeev Beotra (pictured), vice president – media marketing, to the position of business head, media marketing. In his new role, Beotra will be spearheading the media sales function at HT Media.  He will report to Benoy Roychowdhury, executive director, HT Media.

HT Media has promoted Rajeev Beotra (pictured), vice president – media marketing, to the position of business head, media marketing. In his new role, Beotra will be spearheading the media sales function at HT Media.  He will report to Benoy Roychowdhury, executive director, HT Media.

Beotra joined the company in 2005, bringing with him corporate experience including stints at Asian Paints, Coke, Whirlpool and Avon. In his last role at HT Media, Beotra led a major revamp of the media marketing organization in Mumbai, before which he was heading media marketing for North and East.

With this change, all key media marketing managers - Amitava Guha, Manjeet Narwan, Rakesh Shah and Mitesh Desai will now report in to Beotra. Similarly, media marketing heads for all business, editions and regions will now have functional reporting into Beotra.

“To leverage the many changes in the media landscape in the country, and to place the organisation on leadership tracks, the role of our media marketing team has become even more critical. In line with this, the leadership bandwidth in the function is being strengthened and the organisation is being restructured,” said Rajiv Verma CEO, HT Media in an internal communiqué.
