Video: IAA Debates Chennai – Should advertising be created specially for each South market?

Hear the arguments for and against by Madhukar Sabnavis, Senthil Kumar, Shaleen Sharma and KV Sridhar. The verdict was ‘For’ the motion.

The IAA Debates series reached Chennai on 31 March 2014. The topic was ‘There will be no real consumer connect, unless advertising is created specially for each South market.’
 
Ogilvy & Mather’s Madhukar Sabnavis and JWT India’s Senthil Kumar spoke for the motion. Opposing them were arguments from Leo Burnett’s KV Sridhar and RK Swamy BBDO’s Shaleen Sharma.
 
Based on the audience vote before and after the debate, moderator Latha Menon of Iris Films delivered the verdict ‘For’ the motion.
