SPN gets Drew McIntyre and John Abraham to smackdown a bank rober

Sony Sports Network has rolled out a campaign ttiled 'WWE, 100% shudh' (pure) sports entertainment’ featuring WWE superstar Drew McIntyre along with actors Karthi and John Abraham.  

 

Conceptualised by SPN's in-house team, the film revolves around a bank robbery attempt. It opens up with Karthi playing a fake pregnant mother who tries to rob a bank. It then goes on to show McIntyre and Abraham stepping in to save the day in classic WWE style. 

 

Rajesh Kaul, chief revenue officer - distribution and International business and head - sports cluster, Sony Pictures Networks India, said, “It gives us immense pleasure to call ourselves the home of WWE, India’s most loved sports entertainment property. We at Sony Sports Network, aim to continue strengthening our fanbase in India by creating a deeper engagement with the youth. Our campaign sets out to build relevance with our target demographics and provide them with a holistic WWE experience.”
