Sony Max 2 brings alive timeless magic of movies, with a touching declaration of love

Watch the ad film conceptualised by DDB Mudra here

Max 2, the second Bollywood movie channel under Sony Pictures Networks India, has rolled out a film to celebrate its second anniversary. The film has been conceptualised by DDB Mudra.

It opens with a couple welcoming guests to their anniversary party. The lady's younger sibling announces that her sister will sing a song on the occasion for her brother-in-law. As the lady walks to the centre of the gathering, her husband stops her to ask what she is up to, a worried expression on his face. She smiles and walks past. Her younger sister takes to the piano to start playing the popular Bollywood love song 'Pehla Nasha'. The lady celebrating her anniversary uses sign language to express the lyrics of the song, revealing the reason for her silence till now. Her husband, stunned by her gesture, looks at her lovingly. The lady continues, teary eyed. The man is on the verge of tears too, and joins in, also through sign language. As the song continues to play on the piano, a voice over says, 'Kuch filmon ka jaadu kabhi kam nahin hota. Max 2. Yaad rahega' (The magic of some movies never fades. Max 2. It will be remembered).
