JungleeRummy invites game lovers to play uninterrupted, online

Watch the ad film conceptualised by JWT Mindset India

Junglee Games has rolled out a TVC for its online rummy website, JungleeRummy.com. The film shows the benefits of an online game versus one played at home and features recently appointed brand ambassadors, actors Prakash Raj and Rana Daggubati.

The film is set to a soundtrack 'Aao Khele Rummy', which is adapted from the retro Bollywood track ‘Sar jo Tera Chakraye’. It opens with a lady inviting her family, which includes the actors, to a game of Rummy. Daggubati decides against it, but Raj joins the game excitedly. Raj and the lady are joined by the entire family. As the game begins, no one other than Raj takes the game seriously. Some look to gossip, while one lady gets up midway to use the washroom. The children of the house also seem to be a hindrance.

And, just as Raj is about to make his move, the household help arrives with snacks and places that on the cards. Daggubati meanwhile is looking at Raj's plight and laughing his guts out. The film ends with Daggubati introducing the frustrated Raj to JungleeRummy. The duo enjoy the game on a laptop and smart phone.

Ankush Gera, founder and CEO, Junglee Games, said, “This is our first TVC with two of the most well respected and recognised celebrities in Indian cinema. By launching it on national television, we are letting every Indian know that Rummy, which has traditionally been one of the most popular skill-based card games in the country, is now available online to played anytime and anywhere. Players can register for free on JungleeRummy.com and play games for free or for cash. The presence of Prakash Raj and Rana Daggubati would help JungleeRummy establish a deeper connect with players in every region in the country.”
