Corny the Chimp cooks up Cornitos Crusties with a dash of monkey business

Watch the film conceptualised by Crayons Advertising here

Cornitos has rolled out a campaign ‘loose in the lab’ featuring its brand mascot ‘Corny the Chimp’ to showcase its new snacking offering Crusties.

Conceptualised by Crayons Advertising, the film showcases two researchers in a lab where Corny the Chimp seizes the opportunity to cause mischief. As the researchers step out of the lab for lunch, Corny enters the lab with the intent of creating a raucous. When the researchers enter the lab post lunch, they see that Corny is playfully tossing random items into a machine while making mischievous monkey noises, which creates a state of panic for the duo. Their panic quickly turns into surprise and delight when they discover a single Crusties emerging from the machine. Their curiosity takes over, and they eagerly take a bite, savouring the snack Corny unintentionally created.

Vikram Agarwal, managing director, Greendot Health Foods, said, "Currently, our brand is recognised majorly for its Nachos range. With this campaign, our aim is to construct a brand narrative that unifies the entire product lineup under a single umbrella. We aim to create an unforgettable storyline that entertains our audience while reintroducing our scrumptious Crusties."
