What to do this weekend: Go cycling, catch plays, gigs and more

The weekend is here again, and there's plenty to do to help you unwind. For those looking forward to some sports, participate in the BSA Hercules India Cyclothon for a greener tomorrow on Sunday, at Bandra Reclamation at 6 a.m. There are three races to pick from: Tata Kids Ride (for kids between 8–13) – 2 kms., the Green Ride – 12 kms and the Amateur Ride – 24 kms. Registration is open until 8 pm on Saturday evening. Music

Live electronica. LDB System (France). Electro trance with DJS, live instruments, vocalist and dancer.
 
LDB system is a pumping progressive and "Tribadelic" psy-trance oriented live-act performed by the core members and former musicians of Secret Vibes. In order to maintain the original Tribal vibe of the first artistic effort Secret Vibes, LDB system was created in 2001. Their Live-performances are always a collaboration of acoustics and electronics. On stage the band is often joined by various visual artists (Jugglers, Body painters, VJ's etc). It's an all-encompassing multi-sensory experience!

Supper  Theatre , 'Bali: The Sacrifice', A Girish Karnad Play .
Enjoy performances by the cast comprising Avantika Akerkar, Anshuman Jha, Atul Mongia, Nisha Lalvani and Sumit Kaur. Bali: The Sacrifice - Like most Girish Karnad plays, this one too revolves around relationships. Betrayal, infidelity and relationships complicating life, forms the crux of the play. The protagonists are an elephant mahout and a queen who fall in love.

Naseeruddin Shah stars in Waiting for Godot in a two hour play on Saturday at 7 pm at the Chowdaiah Memorial Hall in Bengaluru.

Catch two plays, Lakeerein and Attanniyaan on Saturday and Sunday respectively at Prithvi Theatre in Juhu. Lakeerein will be played at 18:00 and 21:00 on Saturday and Attanniyaan on Sunday at 17:00 and 20:00.
