Star Plus launches new shows as an extension of its 'Rishta Wahi, Soch Nayi' promise

As a follow up to its brand refresh last year to the premise "Rishta Wahi, Soch Nayi", Star Plus has now launched an extension, which includes new shows and a new anthem.

Sanjay Gupta, chief operating officer, STAR Plus, said, "In June 2010, Star India refreshed Star Plus with the tagline ‘Rishta Wahi, Soch Nayi (Old relationship, New thinking)’ to further deepen its bond with viewers.  The channel refresh featured a new Star Plus logo, the Ruby star, along with programming that reflects 'Rishta Wahi, Soch Nayi' – a fresh perspective on life and relationships. On January 24, we reinforced this brand promise through ‘Tu Hi Mera Star’ – our initiative to represent newer aspirations and renewed commitment to create meaningful entertainment for our viewers. Taking this expression to the millions of viewers across the country, STAR Plus has unveiled the Star Plus Anthem showcasing the different facets of a woman. This anthem is conceptualised by one of the best creative minds in the country Piyush Pandey and composed by ace director Vishal Bharadwaj."

The new content line-up as part of the campaign will be 'Wife Bina Life', 'Love U Zindagi' and 'Pyaar Mein Twist'. Also to be launched in February will be 'Maayke se bandhi…Dor' and, later in the year, season three of 'Aap Ki Kachehri'.
