Round One Global Effies judging in Mumbai

The Advertising Club of Bombay will be organizing Round One jury of the Global Effie Awards, set to take place on 4th March, 2009. A jury of marketing professionals, selected by Ad Club Bombay for their global marketing experience, will convene in Mumbai.  The judges will assess the marketing communications effectiveness of entries to the sixth edition of the Global Effie competition. The awards seek to honour marketing communications cases that have successfully run across at least four countries and two regions worldwide.

The awards seek to honour marketing communications cases that have successfully run across at least four countries and two regions worldwide.

Mary Lee Keane, president of Effie Worldwide Inc. said, "The Ad Club Bombay was first to launch a national Effie program in the Asia Pacific region, showing remarkable foresight in championing marketing communications effectiveness.  It is truly an honor to be working with Ad Club Bombay's leadership on the Global Effies this year."

In addition to Mumbai, judging for the competition will be held in Buenos Aires, London and New York.  The winners will be announced by Effie Worldwide, organizer of the award, at the annual Effie gala in New York in June.
