The Advertising Club of Bombay will be organising EMVIES 2010, its media awards presentation, on Friday, August 27, 2010. Now in its tenth year, the awards will be given across 14 categories that include the grand EMVIE, People's Choice and the Best Media Agency of the year. The event, sponsored by Times Television Network, will be hosted at the Taj Lands End in Bandra.
The Ad Club of Bombay has organised 'The Consumer is the New Devil', an interactive dialogue that aims to address the challenge Indian brand marketers face -- the consumer. The session will be held on Thursday, December 3 at 6.15 pm in the Ball Room of the JW Marriott, Mumbai.
The Ad Club of Bombay, in association with The Times Group, has announced the screening of the entries that have won a Gold or Silver Lion at the Cannes 2009 Festival. The Times Group is the official representative of the Cannes Festival in India. The screening will take place on Wednesday, 26 August at 6 pm, in the Ball Room of the ITC Grand Central, Parel, Mumbai. The event will be followed by cocktails and snacks.
The Advertising Club of Bombay's Emvies will take place on Friday, 21 August at Taj Land's End, Mumbai. The annual media awards show recognizes and awards the most creative work from Indian media agencies. This is the ninth year of the event. A total of 451 entries were received this year from media agencies across the country. The jury has shortlisted 59 entries.
