As CEO, Ohri's mandate will be to lead all Apac markets other than Japan

Rohit Ohri to lead Dentsu Apac; Ashish Bhasin takes over as India head
Dentsu Aegis Network has announced the relocation of Rohit Ohri to Singapore as CEO of Dentsu Asia Pacific (excluding Japan). Ohri was based in Delhi prior to this and was executive chairman, Dentsu India and CEO, Asia Pacific (South).
 
Ashish Bhasin, chairman and CEO South Asia, Dentsu Aegis Network will lead the Indian operations of the network, which will now also house the creative agencies (including Dentsu Marcom, Dentsu Communications, Taproot, Dentsu Webchutney, Dentsu Creative Impact) under the banner.
 
Nick Waters, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific, said, “Rohit has done a fabulous job transforming Dentsu in India. Across Asia, Dentsu has an extraordinary track record of innovation and as the largest agency in the region has an unmatched depth and breadth of capabilities. Hiroaki Charlie Sano, executive officer, Dentsu Inc. and CEO of the Dentsu Branded Agencies within Dentsu Aegis Network, said, “Dentsu is an agency network with a long-standing history and a strong footprint in Asia Pacific. Rohit shares our creative ambition and strong vision for Dentsu and the way we work with our clients. I’m delighted he will be taking on a more central position within the network to help guide the business outside of Japan.”
