Rediffusion Y&R appoints Gautam Talwar as executive vice president

Rediffusion Y&R has appointed Gautam Talwar as executive vice president for their new business development and projects team. He will be based in Mumbai and will report to Mahesh Chauhan, Group CEO. Rediffusion Y&R has appointed Gautam Talwar as executive vice president for their new business development and projects team. He will be based in Mumbai and will report to Mahesh Chauhan, Group CEO. Prior to this, he was with Kaleidoscope Entertainment as creative and business head.
 
Commenting on Talwar's appointment, Mahesh Chauhan, Group CEO, Rediffusion Y&R said, “We are happy to have Gautam in our team. He brings along vast experience on various aspects of advertising .With our new structure in place and our ultimate goal in focus, it was the perfect opportunity to hire someone dynamic to lead our new business development team. I am confident of his strong business acumen and intellectual resources which will help support our growth and will add value to our business.”
 
Gautam Talwar, executive vice president - new business development and special projects said, "It is a pleasure to be associated with Rediffusion Y&R. With their strong intellectual backbone and strong leadership in Mash, it is an opportunity for me to apply my learning’s in the advertising, mobile and entertainment space within the agency construct and hopefully create newer business models for Rediffusion Group. I am looking forward to an exciting journey with the Agency”.
 
Talwar started his career with Grey and has worked with brands like Johnson & Johnson , Diageo, Elf ,Akai, Cadbury and Schweppes amongst others. After which he moved to Lintas where he serviced Unilever. He had also developed the Balbir Pasha campaign. At Kaleidoscope, Talwar was responsible for setting up the mobile content division and video content for the mobile space. 
 
Talwar has over a decade of experience in the advertising and entertainment space. During this tenure he lead the team that won accolades through two Cannes Finalist Certificates for Axe for two consecutive years alongwith a New York Silver and an EPICA silver.  He also won the Campaign Gold Award for the best integrated marketing campaign for 2005 for Axe for the MENA region and won the Unilever internal gold award for global brand activation of Axe.
