Poschl, Cassidy, Kurtzman to speak at IRF 2008

India Radio Forum 2008 which will take place on May 31 at Taj Lands End has lined up a host of sessions with speakers from across the world.  The session on ‘A Guide to Better Programming’ will be conducted by Palle Bo of RADIOGURU. The session on ‘Audience Management: Understanding Your Listeners’ will have speakers like Christoph Poschl of Brand Support, Kevin Cassidy of Strategic Radio Solutions and Warren Kurtzman of Coleman Insights.

The speakers for the session ‘Balance Sheet: Giving Advertisers More Bang for Their Buck?’ will include Praveen Tripathy of HANSA Consulting, Anuj Singh of Red FM, L. V. Krishnan of  TAM Media Research, Mallikarjun Das of  Madison Media Research Centre and Nandan Srinath of Radio Mirchi.


The session ‘Creativity In The 21st Century — Have All the Rules Changed?’ will be conducted by Doug Harris of Creative Animal International. ‘Do you know your Brand’ will be conducted by Ken Benson, SVP International, Pinnacle Media Worldwide. Ina Tenz from Radio ffn will host the session on ‘Intriguing Content in Tough Markets.’  The session on ‘Let Us Hear It: What Do Advertisers Want?’ will have speakers like Mike Powell from RCS, Ajit Varghese of MAXUS, Amritendu Roy of Friends FM, Praveen Malhotra of  Big FM, Sanjay Behl of Reliance Communications and Shashi Sinha of  Lodestar Universal.


There will be sessions conducted by Paul Weyland of Paul Weyland Communication Strategies, Mark Briggs of United Radio Consultants, Bjorn Mohr of  Radio Intelligence and Alexi Paspalas of  BBC World Service Future Media.


‘State of the Industry: Challenges & Opportunities... What Does The Future Hold For The Indian Radio Community’ will have speakers including Atul Phadnis of  Media E2E, Abraham Thomas of Red FM, Anil Srivatsa of Radio Today, Apurva Purohit of Radio City, Prashant Pandey of Radio Mirchi, Tarun Katial of Big FM, Vineet Singh Hukmani of  Radio One and Zohra Chatterji of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.

The session ‘Show Me the Money: Finding Revenue On Radio’ will have speakers including Vanita Kohli-Khandekar, Independent Media Consultant & Writer; Ashit Kukian from Radio City, Dnyanada Chaudhari of HUL, Pallavi Burman of Fever FM and Punita Arumugam of Madison Media.
