Portfolio Night, a platform for young creatives to get their work sampled by creative directors, will host its tenth edition globally on 23 May. In India, this will be the third year of the event, and will be hosted by Lowe Lintas and Partners at Four Seasons, Mumbai. The first two editions of the Mumbai leg were hosted by Ogilvy & Mather.
Commenting on the event, Arun Iyer, national creative director, Lowe Lintas and Partners, said, "Hosting Portfolio Night is one way for us at Lowe Lintas and Partners to give back to the community. We would want young creative guys to come in and get the chance to talk to some of the best known CDs in the country. It’s only when you sit in front of someone who has the experience and the maturity that you understand what’s frivolous and what’s really important in a given context. Portfolio Night is thus the right opportunity to get a reality check”.

This year, 25 creative directors from the industry are slated to attend and review the work of participants. Portfolio Night has been organised by IHAVEANIDEA since 2003. The event has taken place in 56 cities in 35 countries. Over 11,000 young copywriters, art directors and designers have taken part so far, with over 2,800 creative directors sampling their entries.
