More than 80% of Google's advertisers are already using at least one AI-driven Google Search Ads product, according to Roma Datta Chobey, managing director — digital native industries, Google India. Chobey was speaking at the recently concluded CEO Conference 2025 organised by the Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA) held in Mumbai.

This year’s CEO Conference focused on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on marketing and business. The event brought together top industry leaders who discussed how AI has impacted various business and marketing domains including predictive marketing, consumer engagement, and automation. The discussions also touched important topics related to responsible AI and the ethical considerations behind its use.

“Together, AI and human creativity can potentially redefine marketing. BCG experience shows that the time for insighting, creation and execution can reduce by as much as 90% and increase effectiveness by 30-50 percent,” said Abheek Singhi, managing director and senior partner, BCG India.

Stating that AI is reshaping businesses to be more adaptive, intelligent, and future-ready, Google’s Chobey illustrated three key AI capabilities shaping business transformation. “Multimodal AI is enriching context to enable personalised experiences. Intuitive information discovery is changing how users search and interact with information, creating frictionless, intent-driven experiences. Multi-agent systems are automating complex workflows, boosting productivity and accelerating innovation,” Chobey said.

In addition to Roma Datta Chobey and Abheek Singhi, the top speakers at the event included Rohit Jawa, CEO, Hindustan Unilever, Kumar Venkatasubramanian, CEO, Procter & Gamble, and Ranjani Mani, director and country head – Generative AI, Microsoft India, and Sunil Kataria, chairman, ISA, among others.

Commenting on the new logo design, Pops KV Sridhar, global chief creative officer, Nihilent Limited and Hypercollective, said, “The new logo reflects the times we live in. It draws upon ISA’s strengths and rich legacy, while adding elements of the digital age to make it relevant in today’s world.”
