MK Machaiah appointed as chief innovation officer for Mindshare South Asia
Mindshare has announced the appointment of M K Machaiah as chief innovation officer – South Asia. Prior to this Machaiah was CEO, Mindshare Sub Saharan Africa.
 
A statement from the agency revealed that his mandate is to lead the integrated approach to consumer engagement and strengthen brand propositions across consumer touchpoints. He is responsible for setting up Innovations Lab through systemic integrations of Content+, Social and Activations and building sports practice. 
 
Prasanth Kumar, CEO Mindshare South Asia, said, “Mac has been a part of the Mindshare family and comes with credible and rich experience in the industry. Prior to his stint in Africa, Machaiah was leader South and East India for Mindshare. In a career spanning 18 years, he has also worked with OMD (Nigeria), World Sport Group, Dentsu, McCann and Madison.
