All India Bakchod (AIB) was among the media organisations hit by the #MeToo scandal that broke out in October 2018. The organisation which had an advertising content arm called Vigyapanti, has released an update post the scandal.

The statement reveals that Tanmay Bhat, who was suspended after making a lapse of judgement regarding its staff member Utsav Chakraborty, has been brought back to the organisation. But, the former CEO hasn't been handed back his designation.

The organisation will be run by Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya. Gursimran Khamba, who was also being investigated, has left the organisation. Khamba was being investigated by a two-member external committee. He cited issues with the procedure.

The update also reveals that the firm lost almost all of its business post the events in October and revenues were hit hard. AIB had to let go of its office space and its entire team.

While the update claims that the YouTube channel is dead for the foreseeable future, the group has also stated that they hope to make people laugh again soon, in whatever 'new form'.
