Manja has announced the appointment of Suyash Barve as executive creative director and Satyajeet More as creative director (art) to expand its founding team.

Barve moves from Creativeland Asia, where he was executive creative director. More was associate creative director at Leo Burnett.

Prajato Guha Thakurta and Arvind Krishnan, co-founders, Manja, said, “Satya and Suyash bring with them very different skill sets. Their work has a sense of modernity and they have a commitment to craft, which we liked. We are looking forward to them making some mischief happen soon."

Barve said, “I’d been waiting for Projo’s name to pop up on my phone for some time now and when it did, he threw a hell of a curveball by telling me he was starting his shop. I’ve always looked for agencies that want to blur the lines between mainline and digital and create work that’s simply beyond categorisation. Projo and Arvind were clear from day one that they wanted to do precisely that. Of course, the opportunity to be a part of the founding team here is a huge responsibility but it’s one that I’m incredibly excited about. It’s also a journey I can’t wait to help script out.”

More said, “Having worked with Projo during my previous stint, joining him and Arvind on the Manja journey was a no-brainer. I’m excited about the work that’s already in the pipeline and what’s coming up very shortly. The vision for Manja is clear and as part of the founding team, I’m excited about turning that vision into reality."

Barve has over 12 years of experience working with 22feet Tribal Worldwide and Contests2win.com, among others. More's ten-year career has seen him work with McCann Worldgroup and Taproot Dentsu, among others.
