Law & Kenneth wins Indian Terrain business

Law & Kenneth has won the account for menswear brand Indian Terrain. Chennai based Celebrity Fashions, one of the largest exporters of menswear in the country owns the apparel brand. Sources say the business is estimated as being close to Rs 10 crores.

Confirming the win, Rajgopal, chairman and MD, Celebrity Fashions said, “We decided to go with Law & Kenneth as they have worked on many iconic brands before and we felt that they had the required expertise and experience for the task at hand. Indian Terrain has aggressive ambitions for the future and we felt that the agency would be able to craft a unique space for the brand.”

The business was being handled by Bangalore based agency Fish Eye Creative. Although there was no pitch involved, sources say the company was scouting around for new ideas and had met a number of agencies in this regard. Anil S Nair, president, Law & Kenneth confirmed that the agency had won the business after a round of presentations.

“The brand has been in the market for the last five to six years. Although, they are one of the largest exporters of quality fabric, the brand has not maximized its potential in the domestic market. It is present nationally with close to 40 exclusive company outlets across the country and many more shop in shop formats across major malls. The task before us will be to recast the brand holistically, and start from ground zero. We will be working on pricing, product and promotions,” said Nair.
