Law & Kenneth Communications India has officially announced its foray into the digital space with the launch of Digital Law & Kenneth.

The division has already been offering its services to its clients for over a year. Some of the clients include ITC, Skoda , Bombay Dyeing, Dabur, Bharti Axa and Anchor Healthcare. The agency has recently won the digital duties of HCC and Lavasa.

"We believe that the time is just right for clients and brands to not just dabble, but to 'invest' over a medium- to-long term horizon in this space. And to leverage and create engaging experiences between brands and consumers," said Anil Nair (pictured), managing partner, Digital Law & Kenneth.

"We have a proprietary 'AIMS' model in place, that will surely excite brand marketing teams in their quest for results and performance, given the current recessionary times. But we also believe in an ongoing client agency digital-awareness process, that involves constant education , innovation, 'accountability', immersive marketing and 'need-creation'."

According to Nair, there is a huge latent digital opportunity in India. "The success of marriage portals, online event ticket bookings and travel sites augurs well for ecommerce and therefore the future digital space in India. Couple that with the technical exposure of the average Indian, infrastructure development, increasing purchasing power, exposure to English, the growing middle class and the acceptance of GPRS/WAP technology across the spectrum," he said.
