JioCinema to live stream the FIFA World Cup
Viacom18 Sports has announced that JioCinema will live-stream all the matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 for free. 
 
This adds to the television broadcast rights acquired by Viacom18's Sports 18. 
 
The tournament is scheduled to be held between 20 November and 18 December.
 
The JioCinema app will be available to download for all telecom service subscribers across devices. Viacom18 Sports will be streaming the tournament in 4K in multiple language feeds, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Bengali on JioCinema - without charging a subscription fee.

We want consumers to have easy access to world-class production across digital and linear platforms (on Sports 18) to match the event’s stature. Viacom18 Media recently announced an investment from Bodhi Tree Systems which was co-founded by James Murdoch and Uday Shankar.
