Current Global, an Interpublic Group agency, has announced a round of senior appointments to its Asia Pacific leadership team.

Shashikant Someshwar takes on pan-regional responsibilities as senior vice president, business operations, Asia Pacific, in addition to his role as managing director, India.

Someshwar has served as managing director of Current India (known earlier as Creation) for over five years. “With our footprint already spanning North America, the UK, Germany, Brazil and India, being able to service clients directly from this vital hub has been a strategic priority from the outset,” said George Coleman, joint-CEO, Current Global. “With Shashikant’s proven entrepreneurial skills supporting them in the region, we’re looking forward to growing another stronghold of our business.”

Current Global is a global agency formed by the merger of Current Marketing and Creation in April 2019.
