The Asian Marketing Effectiveness Festival, a joint venture between Haymarket and the International Advertising Festival, will take place from May 12-13 at the Pudong Shangri-La hotel in Shanghai, China.

The Asian Marketing Effectiveness Festival, a joint venture between Haymarket and the International Advertising Festival, will take place from May 12-13 at the Pudong Shangri-La hotel in Shanghai, China. 

Entries for the 9th Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards, which form part of the festival, can now be submitted. The early entry deadline for the Awards is February 25, while the final entry deadline is March 11, 2011. This year’s theme of ‘unpacking effectiveness’ will set about to examine what effectiveness means in the modern day marketing environment.

Judged by a panel of industry experts, the winners will be revealed at the prestigious awards ceremony on the evening of May 13, honouring effective brand building from the Asia-Pacific region across 17 categories. 

Categories for this year's awards include Best integrated marketing campaign, Most effective use of advertising, Most effective use of direct marketing, Most effective use of interactive marketing, Most innovative use of media, Best marketing campaign for regional brand development, Best marketing campaign for national brand development, Best brand loyalty marketing campaign, Best sustained success, Most effective use of branded content, Most effective use of sponsorship and event marketing, Most effective use of product design and packaging, Most effective use of public relations, Best small budget marketing campaign, Best insights / strategic thinking, Best ideas and Most effective use of eco / green marketing.
