The Publicis Groupe announced today that it will rebrand Solutions, its India and Singapore-based integrated marketing services agency, as Solutions/Digitas.
“The launch of Solutions/Digitas is a key move strengthening Digitas' presence in Asia, and reinforcing Publicis Groupe's commitment to expand digital into emerging markets, and to grow digital market share across the globe,” the company said in a statement.
Publicis Groupe, Paris, acquired Digitas last year. Since then, the Boston-based digital agency has expanded into the UK, Japan, France and China (including Hong Kong).
Solutions/Digitas will be led by Solutions' managing director, Srikant Sastri; and its director and president, Kanika Mathur. Both Sastri and Mathur, who are also Solutions' founders, will report to Alan Rutherford, CEO of Digitas Global.
“We're thrilled to be working with Srikant, Kanika and their teams at Solutions, the top marketing services agency in India, and bringing their talent into our global network is a huge advantage for Digitas and for our clients,” Rutherford said in a statement.
Founded in 1995, Solutions was acquired by Publicis Groupe in 2006.
The newly branded company will be headquartered in New Delhi with offices in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata, as well as Singapore.
