DDB Mudra, TBWA win Gold at One Show Design Awards 2012

Out of the Box bags Silver, JWT and W+K win Bronze

DDB Mudra, TBWA win Gold at One Show Design Awards 2012

Five entries from India have won metal at the One Show Design Awards announced on May 7 in New York.

DDB Mudra Group Mumbai won a Gold Pencil in the category of Collateral Design / Posters - Single for Volkswagen, for its entry 'Iconic'. TBWA\India Mumbai won a Gold Pencil for entry 'Elephant Combs' for client MKV Household Products, in the category of Branding / Logo Design

Commenting on the win, Pratap Bose, chief operating officer, DDB Mudra said, "We are delighted to have won our first ever Gold at the One Design Show, specially for a brand like Volkswagen. A lot of credit goes to Manish Darji, the art director, designer and illustrator of the campaign. On a closer look, the design itself is very subtle, as it encorporates the iconic design of the Beetle amongst other icons over the years."

Out of the Box Delhi won a Silver Pencil in the Branding / Logo Design category, for its work on UPDN Broking, titled 'UPDN'.

Two Bronze Pencils went to Indian entries. One went to JWT entry 'Baddie Bags' for client Lifestyle. Wieden+Kennedy New Delhi accounted for the other Bronze Pencil, awarded for its entry 'Onboard food packaging' in the Package Design Campaign category for client Indigo Airlines.
