Dainik Bhaskar Group appoints Biswaraj Chowdhary as AGM - MarComm

Dainik Bhaskar Group has announced the appointment of Biswaraj Chowdhary as AGM-MarComm. He moves in from Radio City, where he was DGM handling alliances, promotions and new business. Based out of Mumbai, he will be reporting to Sanjeev Kotnala, vice president, Dainik Bhaskar Group.

Speaking on the new appointment, Kotnala said, “Biswaraj brings in relevant experience for current business and will enhance the team efficiencies in communication.”

On his move and challenges here, Biswaraj added, “Dainik Bhaskar group, as an innovative aggressive media group, will give me that additional width to experiment. It’s uniquely placed with a non-metro market- and this space is full of action. I am sure this will be a phase of great learning- experimentation that is an intrinsic property of the brand.”

Biswaraj is a post graduate in marketing from Symbiosis College and has 11 years of prior experience in marketing, alliances and promotions. He has earlier worked with Jet Airways as well.
