A list of 177 awards were announced today

D&AD Awards: India bags six pencils on day one
The organisers of the D&AD Awards have announced Pencil winners for 2017.
 
India has six on the list of 177 awards that have been announced so far. 
 
BBDO India and Ogilvy & Mather have two each on this list. BBDO's wins come for 'Dads #ShareTheLoad' in the 'Creativity for Good' and 'PR' categories. Ogilvy's win comes for 'The 100 Pipers Guitar Series' in the 'Crafts for Advertising' category and 'Savlon Healthy Hands Chalk Sticks' in the 'Creativity for Good category. 
 
Ek Type has a win in the 'Crafts for Design' category for 'Baloo' in the 'Crafts for Design' category.
 
J. Walter Thompson also has a win. Its entry 'Blood Banking' for Indian Red Cross Society' has made the cut.
 
Entrants will have to wait until the award ceremony on 27 April to find out which colour Pencil (Wood, Graphite, Yellow or Black) they have won.
