Colvyn Harris elected AAAI president for 2009-2010

Colvyn Harris, CEO, JWT (pictured) has been unanimously elected president of the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) for 2009-2010. Nagesh Alai, executive director, Interface Communications was unanimously elected vice-president. The honorary secretary is Neville Gomes, managing director, Multimedia Aquarius and the honorary treasurer is Ashish Bhasin, chairman, Carat Media Services.

Colvyn Harris, CEO, JWT (pictured) has been unanimously elected president of the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) for 2009-2010.
 
Nagesh Alai, executive director, Interface Communications was unanimously elected vice-president. The honorary secretary is Neville Gomes, managing director, Multimedia Aquarius and the honorary treasurer is Ashish Bhasin, chairman, Carat Media Services. 

Other elected members of the executive committee for the ensuing year (in alphabetical order) include Draftfcb+ Ulka's M.G Parameswaran,  Publicis India's Nakul Chopra, McCann Erickson's Prasoon Joshi; Madison's Sam Balsara, RK Swamy BBDO's Srinivasan K Swamy, Surajit Nag, BEI Confluence Communication's Tapas Gupta, Contract's Umesh Shrikhande, Group M's Vikram Sakhuja and Network's Vinod Nair. 

The immediate past president, Madhukar Kamath, managing director and CEO, Mudra Communications will be the ex-officio member of the new AAAI Executive Committee.
