Citibank Jet Airways Platinum Credit Card has launched a new campaign in a bid to acquire new customers by highlighting the features of the card. The campaign has been designed by Publicis Ambience.

The campaign consists of three TVCs which show the situations when the protagonists are faced with problematic situations because of the absence of the Card.

Says Vivek Rao, creative director, Publicis Ambience, “The idea stems from the thought that quite often, one could be faced with a tricky situation or an opportunity may present itself to you when you wish for a certain privilege.”

He adds, “In the lounge film we have a scenario where an opportunity for a budding romance gets nipped and the guy is left wishing he had the privilege of being in a business lounge. In the upgrade film, we find the woman in an awkward situation where she really wouldn't be seated with her ex-boyfriend if only she had the privilege of being upgraded to a business class. Similarly in the Air Miles film, a guy is left with his foot in the mouth simply because he didn't have the privilege of a free air ticket. It's the absence of the Citibank Jet Airways Platinum card which leaves these people in their predicament.”

The creative team includes Ashish Khazanchi, Prasanna Sankhe, Akash Das, Vivek Rao, Denise D'silva, Ashish Phatak, Siddhesh Khatavkar, Mayuresh Wagle, Anant Singarwadi and Sneha Chavan. The film has been directed by Oni Sen of Illusion Films. The media mix includes TV, print, BTL, in-flight.
