Cannes 2008: Nine Indian entries in Media Lions shortlist

Nine Indian entries have made it to the shortlist of the coveted Media Lions awards, being chaired by Dominic Proctor, Chief Executive Officer Worldwide, Mindshare, UK, who is the Jury President.

Nine Indian entries have made it to the shortlist of the coveted Media Lions awards, being chaired by Dominic Proctor, Chief Executive Officer Worldwide, Mindshare, UK, who is the Jury President.
 
Leo Burnett has three entries including:'Ruler' for advertiser Micro Technologies; 'Blue Highlighter' for Luxor Writing Instruments and 'Ketchup' for P&G. Maxus's shortlisted entries are for Nokia -– '360 degree feedback model'; and for Vodaphone Essar --  titled 'If you like it'. Publicis, TBWA/India and O&M have one shortlisted entry each: 'Thin Cover' for HP; 'Reading Boy Bookmark' (see picture) for Aseema Charitable trust and 'Bach Gavotte' for Calcutta School of Music respectively.  MindShare's shortlisted entry is 'Virgin launches in India' for Virgin Mobile.
