BBH India strengthens digital team with new appointments

BBH India has announced the appointments of Abhishake Das and Udisha Kumar as brand partners (creative) in a bid to strengthen their digital offerings. Both of them move in from Tribal DDB, where Das was heading the creative department while Kumar worked as his art partner.

Commenting on the appointments, Raj Kamble, managing partner, BBH India said, “We’re very pleased to have Abhishake and Udisha on board. I love their enthusiasm and energy and their knowledge of new media. I am looking forward to some unconventional ideas from them. Besides, they’re both lovely people. That combination of talent and niceness is what we look for at BBH. I have no doubt they’ll prove to be great assets for our agency.”

On his move to the agency, Das said, “BBH has always been an extraordinary creative place. So when I was approached to be a ‘black sheep’, I was thrilled. I have worked in many networks in my career, but the kind of freedom that BBH's philosophy gives to its people is unmatched here in India. The lure of doing work that challenges precedent is what pulled me here. I always believe one should not stop learning, and at BBH I believe I’m at the right school of thought.”

“It is a great opportunity to be able to work with industry stalwarts and to be able to put my talent to good use on exciting new projects. Being willing to experiment and explore the unknown is what I feel is BBH’s biggest asset, and I’m looking forward to joining a team of black sheep,” added Kumar.

Abhishake Das has been in the advertising industry for over 10 years, much of which was spent in digital. At Tribal DDB, he worked on brands like McDonalds, Adidas, Idea Cellular and Star Movies and Star World. Kumar has been in advertising for over five years and has a BA in Visual Communication from KVB Institute of Technology, Australia and a Diploma in Graphic Design from Cambrian College of Applied Arts, Canada.
