Appies 2013: BBH India wins Gold for Marico’s Parachute

BBH Communications India’s campaign ‘Recommended By Those Who Care About You’ for Parachute Advansed Ayurvedic Hair Oil from Marico won one of 10 Gold medals awarded at Appies 2013, organised by the Institute of Advertising, Singapore.

Winners were announced at the end of the two-day festival that showcased the best marketing ideas from Asia Pacific on 16 August.

McCann Worldgroup India’s campaign ‘Adding Romance to the Game of the Thrones’, also for Marico’s haircare brand Parachute, won a Silver. There were a total of five Silver trophies awarded.

In all, 100 entries were shortlisted at this year’s competition.

Appies 2013 also saw eight awards for the best presenters, three of which went to presenters from India. They were Allen Eric, brand manager, Marico Limited; Dhiren Amin, group planning director, McCann Worldgroup India; and Yousuf Rangoonwala, strategic director, BBH Communications.
