After Pops, Aggie and Mehta on the NYF jury

Just few days after the New York Festivals named Leo Burnett's KV 'Pops' Sridhar as a judge for the television and cinema category (check the story here), it has announced JWT's Agnello Dias (pictured) and RMG Connect's Kamlesh Mehta as judges for the print and cyber categories respectively.

As reported earlier, Aggie has put in his papers at JWT where he is the chief creative officer. He is soon going to start his own venture along with Santosh Padhi of Leo Burnett. Mehta is a senior creative director at RMG.

As to what he is looking at in terms of the entries, Dias says, "I am really looking forward to entries that don't use print in a conventional way. Print (in terms of advertising) is undergoing many challenges worldwide. So, I am looking for creativity that deals with such challenges. I want to see entries that use print consumption in an innovative way. But if we don't get great innovation, then we will have to settle for the tried and tested."

Mehta says, "Such opportunities expose us to the best of work done globally and that is the benchmark we always aim to surpass."
